About This Map

The Lenox Park subdivision map was published in 1931 by Freeman and Roberts. Land Lot 3 Reality Company, whose name was derived from their location within the land lottery system of Georgia developed the property. As these properties sold off other portions of Lenox Park were developed. The Lenox Park area consists of many different units; however, this was the first portion of the development. This particular map of Lenox Park is one of the most ornate and well done. The title “Lenox Park” was hand lettered and all of the parks were hatched.

This map of Lenox Park is on the north side of Virginia Highland and is bounded on the south by East Rock Springs, on the west by Pelham Road, on the north by Berkshire Road and on the East by North Highland Avenue.

This map is printed on 100% cotton fiber archival paper and measures is 24” X 36”. The framed piece measures 28” X 40” and is available exclusively at GLS Archives.
